At last; after several announcements the new website is online. Some of the photo's have to be replaced/exchanged/added/etc. and in the useful links section we forgot to mention Goedemoed Guesthouse (sorry Celeste) and the South African Gardeners Forum (sorry Dries) but during the next few weeks these ommissions will be corrected.
The new website is part of our new 'branding communications'. In the past (we did not know anything about marketing and are still learning) we made many mistakes; that's how one can learn. We focussed ourselves too much on the local market; Anyway we decided with all the visitors data gathered during the past five years to change our course. From now on we leave the 'locals' behind (except the exceptions) and in the future we only target our prime markets.
The first responses on this new course are absolutely positive. Enquiries and bookings for team building events, weddings and group visits are dripping in.
And what's more: at the entrance of Klaas Voogds West there is a huge sign with all tourism related businesses in sequence. Soekershof is the second farm on the right. One of these weeks we get a new sign at our entrance. It's all part of branding as is the launch of our new brochure next week.
